HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital in Lehigh Acres, FL seeks a Pharmacist PRN to provide clinical pharmacy services across patient areas. The role focuses on safe procurement, preparation, labeling, distribution, and control of medications, with strong collaboration with the care team.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, a Florida license or eligibility, and may have hospital pharmacy experience. PRN hours and a focus on patient well-being are emphasized.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree in Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy.
• Current FL Pharmacist license or license eligible; NABLEX eligible?
• Experience as a pharmacist in acute-care hospital setting preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate development and maintenance of clinical pharmacy programs to meet patient population needs.
• Provide clinical pharmacy support and execute programs for all patient areas.
• Review medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, route, and interactions; adjust as needed.
• Ensure safe dispensing of medications according to patient age.
• Monitor narcotic transactions and reconcile quantities.
• Assist with physician consults and retrieve reliable drug information.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
