Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and active Texas licensure or eligibility.
• Strong communication with patients and health care teams.
• Experience across adult, pediatric and geriatric patient populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician orders for medications and ensures appropriate therapy.
• Dispenses prescribed medications in all patient care areas.
• Counsels patients and provides drug information to the care team.
• Maintains patient medication profiles and develops care plans.
• Precepts technicians, students, residents and interns.
