Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates clinical functions of pharmacy practice.
• Assesses department needs and designs programs to improve staff clinical skills.
• Examines drug usage processes to identify quality and financial improvements.
• Initiates and evaluates new programs for the department.
• Participates in Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Medication Safety, Infection Control committees and coordinates activities.
• Integrates clinical services with distributive functions.
• Performs distributive functions with staff pharmacists and technicians as needed.
