Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist per IDFPR.
• Bachelor’s Degree: Pharmacy.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check all medications leaving the department for QA.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy agents and hyperalimentation.
• Knowledge of IV admixture and narcotic control.
• Knowledge of investigational drugs and pharmacokinetic dosing.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals about orders and dosing questions.
• Enter orders and verify dosages for patient safety.
• Oversee Omnicell system operations and dispensing accuracy.
• Monitor adverse drug reactions and ensure proper drug therapy.
