Job summary

Providence Little Company Of Mary Torrance Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care in collaboration with the healthcare team, focused on optimizing medication therapy and patient quality of life. Ideal candidates will possess a PharmD or PharmD-equivalent, be California-licensed, and hold BLS certification where applicable, with a preference for acute

Job description

The Clinical Pharmacist I has the responsibility for the provision of high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient's medication therapy outcomes and quality of life.

Performs all duties in a manner, which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.

Required Qualifications:

• PharmD Pharmacy Doctorate Or


• Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy


• Upon hire: California Pharmacist Registered


• Upon hire: Basic Life Support (BLS) - where applicable

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Acute care hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent experience.


• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
