Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA, seeks a Clinical Pharmacist I to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy outcomes.

This role requires a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, Washington Pharmacist License on hire, and BLS. Preferred candidates have acute care hospital experience and/or ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency. We offer a supportive culture focused on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy required at hire.

The clinical pharmacist I has the responsibility for the provision of high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient's medication therapy outcomes and quality of life.

Required Qualifications:

• PharmD - Doctorate of Pharmacy, or
• Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist License
  • Board of Pharmacy Preceptor License - when eligible and where applicable
• Upon hire: Basic Life Support (BLS) (Facility Managed) - where applicable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Acute care hospital pharmacy experience, 1 year or equivalent experience.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
