Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to compound and dispense prescribed medications in a hospital setting. You will consult with medical staff about drug interactions and patient history, and respond to patient questions on medications and dosages.

You must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD/Bachelor in Pharmacy with SC pharmacist license; residency preferred. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in South Carolina required.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
