Emory Healthcare is seeking a clinical pharmacist I to practice as a pharmacy generalist in one or more patient care areas. You will participate in quality, safety, and cost-saving initiatives, ensure appropriate therapy, and document interventions per institutional protocols.

You will review orders, educate patients, and engage with leadership and other pharmacists on complex cases. This role includes precepting students and supporting cost-savings programs while maintaining clinical

Formación

• One year of relevant experience; Pharmacy Specialty Board certification or ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred.
• Eligible for Georgia licensure; must be licensed prior to start date.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS required within 6 months if applicable to practice specialty.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient-centered, interdisciplinary pharmaceutical care and review orders for safety, efficacy, and cost-efficiency.
• Document clinical activities and adverse drug events; participate in codes and follow institutional policies.
• Educate patients on medications, adverse effects, and proper administration; support transitions of care.
• Precept students or provide at least one educational in-service annually; participate in mentorship programs.
• Oversee technicians and pharmacists to ensure regulatory compliance and participation in cost-savings initiatives.
