Actalent is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Southgate, KY for a permanent, on-site role. The position emphasizes medication safety, clinical accuracy, and patient-centered care in a collaborative pharmacy setting.

Qualified candidates will hold a Kentucky license and a PharmD or RPh, with a strong eye for detail and a willingness to work a mix of first and second shifts. New grads are welcome to apply and grow within a supportive team.

Formación

• Active Kentucky pharmacist license in good standing.
• PharmD or RPh degree from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of pharmacist experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on medication safety and clinical accuracy.
• Ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling.
• Capability to collaborate with prescribers and healthcare teams.
• Solid understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations and professional standards.
• Willingness to work on-site with a mix of first and second shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide thorough medication counseling to patients on use, interactions, and adherence.
• Collaborate with prescribers to resolve questions and optimize regimens.
• Support quality and compliance by following policies and best practices in medication management.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and accuracy in dispensing and documentation.
• Work with pharmacy support teams and healthcare professionals for efficient service.
• Identify process improvements and participate in operational initiatives.
