Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's Pharmacy Department seeks a pharmacist to oversee comprehensive pharmaceutical care, elevating medication safety and patient outcomes. The role includes direct supervision of technical staff and coordinating training for pharmacists, technicians, residents and students across units or satellite services.

Assignments will be tailored to the individual's training and skill set, with orientation and onboarding to ensure seamless integration into patient care

Qualifications

• Active Florida Pharmacy license required.
• If no active Florida Pharmacy license, must be registered as a Pharmacy Intern in the State of Florida and have an active Florida Pharmacy license within three (3) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care with emphasis on medication safety.
• Directly supervise technical staff and oversee operations.
• Orient and train pharmacists, technicians, residents, interns and students as assigned.
