Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Florida to provide clinical pharmacy services, oversee pharmacy technicians, and ensure safe, effective medication use. The role supports an interdisciplinary team and requires accurate drug information, dosing, and patient education.

You will participate in medication safety initiatives, review orders, and contribute to antimicrobial stewardship and other clinical programs within a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited Pharmacy program required.
• Pharmacist license in Florida required.
• Relevant pharmacy work experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers including medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to technicians and other support staff to ensure timely prescription verification, preparation, and distribution of medications, compounding and/or supplies and coordinates workflow as needed.
• Provides Clinical Pharmacy services which may include but is not limited to: renal/hepatic dosage adjustment, pharmacokinetic dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, total parenteral nutrition, antimicrobial stewardship.
• Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders, labs and other clinically relevant information to ensure safe and optimal therapeutic outcomes and documents interventions appropriately.
• Manages and recommends drug therapy regimens as a part of an interdisciplinary team to provide patient and family centered care.
