Avera Grassland Campus is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure safe, effective, and economical use of medications for patients of all ages. You will prepare and dispense prescriptions, advise clinicians, monitor regimens, and educate patients while overseeing pharmacy staff.

The Pharmacist will collaborate with medical teams, participate in quality improvement, and stay current with regulations and best practices. This PRN position supports patient care across the hospital system.

Formación

• Pharmacist license and state practice eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Interprets, processes, and monitors medication orders for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriateness.
• Provides medication information on proper usage, effects, and adverse effects.
• Oversees Pharmacy Technicians in unit dosage, IV admixture, and prescription prep/distribution.
• Mentors students, interns, technicians, and others with career development.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and patient safety initiatives.
• Monitors medication therapy via data review and collaboration with the care team.
