Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a licensed pharmacist to oversee pharmacotherapy outcomes and the distribution and packaging of medications in a high-volume pharmacy care setting. The role collaborates with families, patients, and clinicians to optimize therapy.

You will explain treatment options, monitor for adverse effects, and document care decisions using our proprietary software. This full-time position emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient safety in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in good standing with the state board.
• Two or more years in pharmacy distribution and packaging required; geriatrics exposure preferred.
• Experience with clinical pharmacogenomics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers to address MRPs and medication questions.
• Explain care plans, uses, side effects, and contraindications of medications.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care decisions and medication dispensing in the proprietary system.
• Oversee technicians to ensure proper medication reconciliation, orders, inventory, labeling and packaging in compliance with policies and regulations.
