Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience and education required to perform duties as a pharmacist within the Federal system.
• Specialized experience in comprehensive medication therapy management and patient assessment will be credited.
• Education credentials must meet GS-11/GS-12 qualifications and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, modify, and evaluate drug therapy for optimal outcomes; obtain drug histories and educate patients.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding including extemporaneous formulations.
• Evaluate medication orders for safety, interactions, and formulary options.
• Dispense medications with accuracy, labeling, and patient safety in mind.
