Responsibilities

• Document clinical activities and interventions per policy.
• Interpret medication orders for interactions, dosing, and appropriateness; enter and dispense accurately.
• Verify medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.
• Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals; clarify unclear orders with provider.
• Maintain an adequate knowledge base to provide clinical services for all age groups.
• Maintain working knowledge of automated systems.
