Job summary

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to ensure safe and effective use of medications. You will monitor prescribed therapies, resolve drug therapy issues and collaborate with the pharmacy team, nurses and physicians.

The role includes providing pharmacokinetic guidance, dose adjustments and monitoring, with opportunities to train new pharmacists and students within a large acute care setting.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Minimum of one year hospital experience
• Active Nevada pharmacist license in good standing
• BLS required
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on area

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with pharmacy team, nurses, physicians and staff to resolve drug therapy issues
• Provide medication information and consultation on pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments and monitoring
• Participate in training of new pharmacists, students and technicians
