CCS Medical, Inc. in Roanoke, Virginia seeks a Pharmacist to perform general pharmacist duties, including preparing medications, final checks, and data-entry review. The role reports to the Director of Pharmacy and is located in Roanoke, VA.

Responsibilities include dispensing, clinical interventions, patient counseling, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The candidate should have a Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy with an active state license, and will support a range of pharmacy operations and QA

Competenze

• Must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy.
• Current Pharmacy license in applicable state; VA license preferred.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Knowledge of policies and regulations pertaining to disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

Mansioni

• Prepares and/or oversees the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications to patients.
• Make decisions regarding generic substitution of prescribed pharmaceuticals.
• Assist in patient care with calls to practitioners, patients, and pharmacies.
• Evaluate physician prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and administration routes.
• Supervise filling, receiving, and dispensing activities; maintain patient charts.
