Job summary

CP01 Carilion Medical Center in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for Day/Evening shifts. In this role, you will provide clinical consultation, educate patients and healthcare providers, and ensure accurate medication dispensing.

Qualifications

• License to practice Pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Virginia required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge of general office equipment and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical consultation for other health-care providers.
• Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication use.
• Review and process medication orders for accuracy.
• Prepare and dispense medications as needed.
