A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to analyze and ensure optimal drug therapy for patients. This role requires a Pharm.D. and involves responsibility for both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations.
The clinical pharmacist is a licensed professional with knowledge and proficiency in pharmacy practice, including pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacotherapeutics. The incumbent is responsible for analyzing real and potential drug-related medical problems and implementing corrective actions to ensure that patients receive optimal drug therapy.

Preferred Experience: 2 years outpatient and inpatient pharmacy experience. Oracle/Cerner experience or knowledge.

Physical Requirements: The work involves inpatient and outpatient pharmacy environments, with exposure to temperature extremes, noise, and handling of frozen/refrigerated products. Must be able to don protective gear, operate equipment, and perform physical activities such as lifting, reaching, standing, and bending. Visual and auditory acuity are required for medication identification, patient communication, and safety. The role may involve exposure to infectious materials and stressful situations, requiring flexibility and effective teamwork.
