Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. You will work with providers and patients to optimize outcomes, verify orders, monitor therapies, and supervise support staff.

Licensure in Michigan or eligibility is required, with a 90-day timeframe to obtain licensure after employment. Measles/Mumps/ Rubella and Varicella vaccination are required; health-system experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Michigan or eligible for licensure.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist required within 90 days of employment.
• 90-day licensure window for Michigan licensure if applicable.
• Health-system experience or PGY-1 residency preferred but not required.
• PGY-2 residency desired for specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy to patients.
• Verify medication orders and monitor patient therapies.
• Offer drug information and supervise support personnel.
• Collaborate with providers and other health professionals for optimal outcomes.

BS Pharmacy degree or higher

Licensed to practice pharmacy (MI)

Michigan licensure within 90 days

Health-system experience (preferred)
