Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Michigan seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to provide safe, effective and cost-efficient medication therapy. You will work with providers and patients to optimize outcomes, verify orders, monitor therapies and guide support staff.

Requirements include graduation from ACPE-accredited school, Michigan licensure or eligibility, and supervision during licensure period. Health-system experience is preferred; detailed vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in Michigan or eligible for licensure
• Required licensure as a Registered Pharmacist within 90 days of employment
• Those seeking licensure in Michigan will have 90 days to complete
• All duties performed under supervision until licensure is obtained
• Health-system experience or PGY-1 residency preferred, not required
• PGY-2 Residency desired for specialty areas (ED, OR, ONC)
• Board Certification preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for safe, effective, appropriate and cost-efficient medication therapy for patients.
• Pharmacist will verify orders, monitor therapies, provide drug information and supervise support staff.
