Job summary

Tohono O’odham Nation Health Care Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide clinical and outpatient pharmacy services across TON Health Care facilities. The role may require relocation to Sells Hospital and other TON locations as needed, with a primary duty station at the Pharmacy Branch.

The position requires a Pharmacist licensed in at least one state, with knowledge of drug therapies, safety, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and patient services.
• Familiarity with federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Ability to counsel patients on medications and therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pharmacy services and verify dispensing of medications.
• Review orders, ensure accuracy, and maintain drug files and allergies.
• Educate patients on medications, side effects, and adherence.
• Manage inventory, including controlled substances, and procurement.
• Oversee staff, train personnel, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support diabetes, hypertension, and chronic disease management programs.
