Job summary

Tohono O'odham Nation Health Care seeks a licensed pharmacist to deliver pharmaceutical care across TON Health Care facilities, including outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with active licensure, immunization certification, and the ability to work at multiple TONHC sites, with temporary relocation to Sells Hospital and other centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required; licensure in at least one state.
• Immunization certification and compliance with background checks.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy and patient education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pharmacy services and verify prescriptions.
• Review medications for safety, interactions, and dosing.
• Counsel patients on therapy, administration, and side effects.
• Manage controlled substance inventory and drug records.
• Oversee compounding, sterile products, and IV additives as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to optimize therapy.
