Job summary

Orlando Health seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and medication management for patients in a hospital setting. The role includes reviewing, verifying, dispensing medications, IV therapies, and participating in rounds and quality improvement.

Shift 1430-2300 with every 4th weekend commitment; Florida Pharmacist License is required. BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, hospital experience preferred, and you will collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD required
  • Active Florida Pharmacist License required
  • Hospital Pharmacy Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmaceutical care and medication management for patients
  • Review, verify, and dispense medications and IV therapies
  • Conduct pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetic consultations
  • Monitor medication safety, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Participate in clinical initiatives, patient care rounds, and quality improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and best practices
