Albert Einstein Medical Center seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to oversee the medication distribution system for their area and to ensure each medication is indicated, effective, safe, and convenient for patients. You will identify, prevent, and resolve drug therapy problems and support pharmacy service quality initiatives.

The role includes training staff, precepting students, and ensuring compliance with formulary policies while delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy or RPH required.
• Knowledge of pharmacokinetic principles for dosing.
• Monitor patients for medication response and adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital formulary, policies, and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff per Jefferson values.
• Assures appropriateness of drug therapy and compliance with hospital policies.
• Oversees distribution of medications across the facility.
• Supports implementation of quality assurance processes for Pharmacy services.
• Trains staff (residents, interns, technicians, new pharmacists).
• Precepts student pharmacists; supports preceptor development.
