Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and resolve discrepancies in patient therapy.
• Provide and document drug information and patient counseling.
• Direct and manage technicians and clerical staff.
• Maintain adequate medication supply and participate in staff in-services.
• Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems and advise on formulary alternatives.
• Access and enter patient care information in outpatient/inpatient systems.
• Participate in quality management and utilization review programs.
• Cross-cover or take on other duties as needed.
