Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the clinical activities of the assigned pharmacy service area.
• Reviews and interprets physician orders for indication, clarity, dosing, allergies, interactions, and duplication.
• Interacts with physicians regarding medication orders and documents outcomes in the Meditech system.
• Ensures medications are prepared and labeled correctly and that the pharmacy operates under regulations.
• Provides drug information and counseling to patients and families.
