Luminis Health, Inc. seeks a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to support safe and cost-effective drug use in an inpatient setting. You will verify orders, supervise technicians, participate in rounds, and provide pharmacotherapy expertise to patients and staff.

The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy with inpatient experience; PGY-1 or board certification is preferred and Maryland licensure is required. Expect rotating shifts and clinical collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or BS in Pharmacy with commensurate experience.
• At least 1 year of inpatient setting experience.
• PGY-1 residency or Board Certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Rotating staffing schedule including day/evening shifts, weekends, holidays and overnight coverage.
• Verify accuracy of orders in computerized medication profiles and assess for interactions.
• Communicate with prescribers to clarify orders and discuss alternative therapies.
• Provide drug information to patients and clinical staff as needed.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and ensure timely medication delivery.
• Participate in patient care rounds, medication reconciliation, and safety initiatives.
• Educate on aseptic techniques for IV admixtures and supervise related prep.
