Job summary

Pyramid, Inc. seeks a Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time, onsite role in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The position offers a shift-based schedule (4×10-hour shifts), weekend and holiday rotations, and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include interpreting orders, dispensing medications, monitoring therapies, and supporting the formulary under Pharmacy Leadership. Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, possess an active Florida license, and have hospital experience.

Qualifications

B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing.
PGY1 completion, new graduate status, or inpatient hospital experience is highly preferred.
Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Interpret medication orders and verify them in the pharmacy computer system.
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals accurately and efficiently.
Monitor therapy for interactions, allergies, and dosing.
Support the formulary via therapeutic interchange and appropriate meds.
Provide medication information to health professionals and patients.
Participate in clinical pharmacy services such as drug consultations, nutrition support, anticoagulation monitoring, pain management, IV-to-PO conversion, and renal dosing.
Document clinical interventions and report medication errors or adverse events.
Supervise pharmacy operations as needed and support the pharmacy team.
