Pay Range: $52/hr - $59/hour. (10 years of experience) - Max $ 64/hr (15+ Years) + Benefits
Shift Differentials: 2nd Shift $2.00, 3rd Shift $4.25 Extra Shift Premium $3.00 + Benefits
Key Responsibilities:

- 3rd Shift: +$4.25/hour
- Extra Shift Premium: +$3.00/hour
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
- Holiday Requirement: 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday
- Interpret medication orders and accurately enter or verify them in the pharmacy computer system.
- Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor medication therapy for contraindications, drug interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing.
- Support the hospital formulary by utilizing therapeutic interchange and promoting appropriate medication selection.
- Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Participate in clinical pharmacy services, including:
- Drug consultations
- Nutrition support
- Pharmacokinetics
- Anticoagulation monitoring
- Pain management
- IV-to-PO conversion
- Renal dosing
- Other clinical programs as assigned by Pharmacy Leadership
- Accurately document clinical interventions and activities.
- Complete reports related to medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
- Supervise pharmacy operations as needed and provide support to the pharmacy team.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support safe and effective medication therapy.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing.
- PGY1 completion, new graduate status, or inpatient hospital experience is highly preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
- Candidates without inpatient experience may be considered if they graduated within the past 5 years.
- Long-term retail pharmacy experience without relevant inpatient experience is not preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical pharmacy skills.
- Interest in developing a long-term career and growing within the organization.
