Job summary

Baraga County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to dispense medications for inpatients, 340B and retail pharmacy and provide drug information to the medical staff. The role reports to the CEO and requires Michigan licensure and USP 797 competency.

The pharmacist will supervise pharmacy technicians, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety, and corporate standards while maintaining high professional ethics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Michigan pharmacist licensure.
Experience in institutional practice with USP 797 competency.
Self-directed, motivated, and capable of supervising supporting personnel.
Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Dispense medications for inpatients, 340B and retail pharmacies.
Enforce departmental policies and procedures per Pharmacy Manual.
Provide drug information to physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
Supervise Pharmacy Technician staff.
