Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Less than 1 year relevant experience required.
• Licensed Registered Pharmacist required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• Authorization to Administer Injectables for Pharmacist preferred.
• Completion of degree program from accredited school of pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

• Compounds pharmaceutical preparations and/or labels and packages medications; assists with or supervises IV preparation and delivery.
• Advises patients and medical staff on use of medications including dosage and interactions.
• Maintains controls and records of narcotics and other controlled substances as required by state and federal law.
• Monitors drug therapy to identify and resolve drug therapy problems; address issues with physicians/nurses as needed.
• Provides clinical pharmacy services as needed.
• Administers immunizations and reviews patient profiles for qualification, providing recommendations.
