Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, a 100% employee-owned closed-door pharmacy serving individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs, seeks a Pharmacist. The role emphasizes clinical care without retail interruptions, with opportunities to use clinical knowledge and build relationships with care teams.

We value ESOP ownership, flexible FT/PT options, daytime hours, and strong support from pharmacists, technicians, and leadership. LTC experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Active Nebraska Pharmacist License or ability to obtain before starting.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Collaborative, dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassion for individuals and care teams served.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs.
• Collaborate with prescribers, nurses and direct support professionals.
• Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns.
• Maintain accurate MAR information for caregivers.
• Administer long-acting injectable medications as needed.
• Participate in medication reviews and other clinical initiatives.
• Work with the pharmacy team to provide accurate, timely care.
