UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist, Patient Care to support hospital pharmacy operations in Cincinnati, OH. You will review orders, provide clinical oversight, and ensure safe medication use.

The role collaborates with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to optimize patient outcomes. Pay is hourly and ranges from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour for full-time, with per diem/PRN scheduling and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited program.
• Current active Pharmacist license in the state.
• Ability to evaluate therapy and dosing for patient safety.

Responsabilités

• Review medication orders for appropriateness based on patient data.
• Provide clinical oversight of regimens for patient populations.
• Process orders including entry, compounding, labeling, and documentation.
• Offer drug information and clinical guidance to physicians and staff.
• Ensure medications are available to minimize delays and support outcomes.
• Oversee technicians and supervise interns/students as needed.
• Maintain inventory and assist formulary management.
• Document pharmacist interventions and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Participate in committees and training activities.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
