Job summary

Kindred Hospital Indianapolis is seeking a Pharmacist to work under the Director of Pharmacy, dispensing medications and supporting clinical programs. You will interpret orders, ensure safe therapy, and advise hospital staff on drug information and regulations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license in good standing.
• BCLS certification.
• Minimum 3 months of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and dispense medications per prescriptions.
• Provide drug information and educate hospital staff and patients.
• Advise on quality, regulatory and risk issues within the hospital.
• Supervise technical staff and support departments in patient care.
• Review patient profiles for safe, effective therapy.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure proper IV processes.
