Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current state license to practice pharmacy required.
• Two years' hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician medication orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitors and evaluates the six critical processes of medication management with physicians and clinical staff.
• Verifies and approves the work of Pharmacy Technicians.
• Manages and utilizes the computerized pharmacy system.
• Orders and stores medications, keeping them safe and effective.
