Job summary

Sentara Infusion Services in Charlottesville, VA, is hiring a Full-Time Clinical Pharmacist for the Home Infusion Pharmacy. The role supports safe medication use, provides patient counseling, and collaborates in the patient-care team from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly.

The pharmacist will manage drug therapy, review orders, and educate patients while precepting students and ensuring quality assurance per department standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Doctorate in Pharmacy is preferred.
• Virginia Pharmacist License is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and prompt pharmacy services.
• Manage patient drug therapy in accordance with clinical standards.
• Assure appropriateness of all provider medication orders.
• Maintain knowledge of medications and disease states relevant to practice.
• Provide drug information and education to patients.
• Precept pharmacy students as assigned.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $148,304.00 - $214,926.40 annually. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
