Qualifications

• Graduated from accredited school of pharmacy
• Active NJ Pharmacist license or equivalent
• Current NJ Board of Pharmacy license

Responsibilities

• Review patient profiles to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
• Dispense medications and monitor drug safety per guidelines and patient-specific criteria.
• Oversee technician activities per regulatory requirements.
• Manage medication storage and documentation.
• Participate in clinical services and cost-effective patient care initiatives.
• Follow safety guidelines for handling sterile and hazardous medications (USP 797/800, ASHP, NIOSH).
• Communicate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care.
• Mentor and train pharmacists and technicians.
• Participate in quality, safety and medication management projects.
