Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a float pharmacist for the Milwaukee area clinics, primarily serving from 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday. This role includes overseeing patient pharmaceutical care, counseling patients regarding medications, and managing medication therapy regimens based on biomedical literature.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution, and possess or be eligible for proper licensure. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state(s) of practice or eligible for reciprocity required.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required based on area of practice.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and evaluates biomedical literature.
• Provides patient counseling about medication therapy.
• Designs and evaluates patient-specific medication regimens.
• Reviews medication orders and interprets prescriptions.
• Participates in management of medical emergencies when applicable.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
