Qualifications

• Two or more years of Pharmacist experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Graduate degree from an accredited pharmacy program is required.
• Alabama Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Working knowledge of office practices, patient relations, medical law and ethics.
• Pharmacists must be a caring and compassionate person with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews prescriptions by Physicians and other providers.
• Directs pharmacy technicians engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Answers questions and provides information to customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage.
