Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to support operations and patient care in our community pharmacy. The role includes supervising Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining regulatory compliance while delivering personalized service to customers.

The position offers a competitive base pay between $60 and $76 per hour, with available benefits for eligible hours. A current Alabama pharmacy license and immunization certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy License in the state where employed.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g. APhA).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Support Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Oversee patient safety, regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Manage inventory, workflow and customer service to ensure healthcare quality.
• Contribute to profitability and loss prevention while delivering compassionate care for patients.
