Responsibilities

• Check medications leaving the department for quality assurance.
• Know-how on chemotherapy agents and IV admixture.
• Dispense medications per physician orders and verify dosages.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals about orders and drug interactions.
• Participate in planning and updating pharmacy services.
• Enter oral/IV meds into HBOC and oversee Omnicell operations.
