Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to oversee the medication distribution system in its Cherry Hill, NJ area.

The pharmacist will identify, prevent, and resolve drug therapy problems, ensuring each medication is appropriate, effective, safe, and convenient for patients. The role involves supervising medication distribution, training staff, precepting students, and promoting high-quality Pharmacy services in a rotating shift environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD or RPH required and eligible to practice in PA/ NJ.
• Knowledge of pharmacokinetic principles required for medication dosing.
• Monitor patients for response to medications and adjust therapy when needed.
• Promote and assure compliance with the hospital formulary and policies.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff per Jefferson values.
• Oversees the distribution of medications throughout Kennedy University Hospitals.
• Supports implementation of processes to assure quality of Pharmacy services.
• Trains staff such as residents, interns, technicians, and new pharmacists.
