Medical City McKinney, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive clinical and operational pharmacy services on the main campus and freestanding ED. The role includes supervising technical staff and collaborating with medical teams in ED, ICU, and other departments.

The pharmacist will interpret orders, compound and dispense medications, monitor therapies, and participate in quality and risk management programs while supporting drug information

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Acute Pharmacy experience.
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsabilités

• Interpret orders and verify them in the pharmacy system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapy for interactions and appropriateness.
• Provide medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
• Train pharmacists and technicians; participate in ongoing education.

B.S. or PharmD from ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
