Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Dallas is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide general clinical and operational pharmacy services and supervise technical staff. The role supports safe, effective medication use and patient care in a busy hospital setting.

You will interpret orders, compound and dispense medications, monitor regimens for safety, and contribute to antimicrobial management and clinical programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the TX State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them into the pharmacy computer system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies and dosing.
• Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
• Assist with antimicrobial management and other clinical programs.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and other staff as needed.
