Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient profiles and transcribes orders ensuring correct therapy.
• Dispenses medications accurately and promptly; verifies routes, doses, and frequency.
• Checks unit doses, IVs, and extemporaneous preparations for accuracy.
• Prepares sterile IVs and hazardous drug handling with aseptic technique.
• Participates in clinical initiatives and provides drug information.
• Converts non-formulary requests to formulary alternatives when possible.
