Qualifications

• Review medication orders to ensure safe and evidence-based therapy.
• Dispense medications and monitor drug safety per guidelines and patient criteria.
• Oversee technicians and ensure accurate medication storage and documentation.
• Participate in training, education and mentoring of staff and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in clinical services and stewardship programs.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to assure continuity of pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure safety handling of sterile and hazardous medications per USP 797/800 and related guidelines.
• Contribute to quality, safety and project work related to medication management.
