  • Provides patient and caregiver counseling on medication therapy, adverse effects, compliance, and proper use.
  • Designs, monitors, and evaluates patient-specific regimens based on biomedical literature and policies.
  • Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions accurately.
  • Participates in medical emergencies and supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
  • Collaborates with healthcare team to manage formulary adherence and medication-use processes.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Prepares, dispenses, and oversees storage and handling of medications.
  • Serves as preceptor for pharmacy students and residents; mentors staff.
