Job summary

Medical City Green Oaks Hospital is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical services. The role involves accurately dispensing medications, verifying orders, performing dose adjustments, and maintaining compliance with policies and safety procedures.

You will educate staff and patients and work closely with the health care team to ensure high-quality care. Requirements include pharmacy licensure, a Bachelor’s degree, and completion of BLS and Nonviolent

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist license/registration required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently, accurately and quickly identifies, profiles, charges, credits, prepares and dispenses medication orders, thoroughly checks work of technicians, makes rounds and maintains orderly workflow.
  • Maintains appropriate records.
  • Performs order entry and resolves medication discrepancies and reconciliation.
  • Participates in staff and patient education regarding medications and serves as a resource.
