Job summary

HELP Hire is seeking a Pharmacist in Texas to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and provide discharge counseling to patients and caregivers. The role emphasizes medication management, review of investigational drug records, and maintaining high safety standards. Respiratory fit testing may be required per safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy Doctor degree or equivalent and is prepared to uphold rigorous peer review and compliance practices within the department.

Qualifications

• Required- Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Or Ph.D. Pharm. D. degree
• Maintains investigational drug records according to departmental policy
• Contribute to the medication management process
• Conduct discharge medication review (difficult to obtain, prescription accuracy) and counseling, ensuring that patients/caregivers understand their medication therapies upon discharge
• Participates in study initiation, maintenance and closure

Responsibilities

• Checks all available means of communication including e-mail, mailbox, and voicemail every shift
• Ensures the smooth running of the pharmacy and acts as a role model for technicians and other pharmacists as evidenced by lack of complaints, medication incident reports, and peer review
• Contribute to the medication management process
• Conduct discharge medication review and counseling, ensuring that patients/caregivers understand their medication therapies upon discharge
• participates in study initiation, maintenance and closure as part of our commitment to safety standards
